About Us
Susan Nelson is the creator of Auxano Creative, a custom website design and development studio. Formerly named The WebDesign Loft and established in 2004, Auxano Creative focuses on providing user-friendly and well-structured websites that stand out from the crowd.
Susan is a busy work-at-home mom of three beautiful children (7, 5, & 3). In between driving the kids to and from school and other activities, she prides herself in providing excellent customer service to all her clients. Web design started as a hobby for her and during her time at home with her children, she has worked hard to learn as much as she can in order to provide clients with an excellent website.
Susan’s previous experience includes teaching 4th grade for four years and working for a signage company for seven years where she created custom signs for hospitals, hotels, and other institutions.
A New Partnership
Auxano Creative is proud to announce collaboration with John Beatrice of Maine Webworks. John is a talented web developer who specializes in people friendly and search engine happy websites. John helps provide backend programming which includes, but is not limited to, content management systems, image galleries, and shopping carts.

Auxano (au-ksä’-nō) is Greek for “to grow” or “to increase”, and that’s exactly what we’ve done here at Auxano Creative.
